The Woods Coffee was established in 2002 by the Herman family of Lynden. With a dream of starting a chain of coffee shops, the family pooled their talents and resources to create the first store at Bender Plaza in Lynden. Six months later, they opened their second store, and have continued on a steady growth pattern throughout Whatcom County.
