The Woods Coffee partners with Lynden Christian recycling program
Bellingham, WA-July 20, 2010 – The Woods Coffee and Lynden Christian Schools joined forces in an innovative recycling program for used coffee bags. The empty bags, normally unrecyclable, are sent to TerraCycle; a company that “upcycles” products into usable goods. Examples of items they create are clocks, bags, lunchboxes, fences, and recycling bins. This program is a wonderful benefit to the community, creating a sustainable way to recycle coffee bags and provide a fundraising opportunity for Lynden Christian Schools. The Woods Coffee actively looks for local partnerships like this for the mutual benefit to the community.
